Incorporated in 1991, Community Vocational Services serves local individuals referred to us by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) in the South Region of Connecticut, and we are primarily funded by the State of Connecticut’s Department of Disabilities.
To serve the growing needs of our community, we are increasingly reaching out for additional funding to support our programming,
and we are grateful to all our individual, civic, and corporate donors!

Welcome to Community Vocational Services!
As a provider supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, thank you for visiting our website. CVS, Inc. continues to support people with disabilities and their families as we have been doing since 1991.
Our organization has many attractive aspects: a diversified board of directors; administration concentrating on people’s individual needs and advocating for the necessary resources for people to achieve their goals, AND a dedicated staff caring about the people they support and the services and supports they deliver. A hallmark of CVS, Inc. is the individual attention afforded each person as we facilitate their goals for integration, independence, and productivity. CVS encourages input and feedback from everyone supported and believes there are no obstacles that we cannot solve as a TEAM.
